First Pacific Palisades Rebuild Home Raises the Bar on Fire-Risk Reduction

AEC Daily News - September 05, 2025

The most notable rebuild among homes destroyed by the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles has set a new standard in wildfire defense—featuring CitroTech®’s proven inside and outside fire protection.

Mighty Fire Breaker—the producer of the only EPA Safer Choice–certified fire retardant, CitroTech®—applied its advanced, non-toxic technology to treat 100% of the interior lumber while also installing a rooftop-integrated wildfire defense sprinkler system.

This represents one of the most significant fire- and wildfire-risk reduction programs ever introduced in the American homebuilding industry.

Through its “Timing Is Everything” Campaign, Mighty Fire Breaker is reaching out to California homeowners rebuilding after wildfires. By engaging early—ideally just after framing—homeowners can secure substantial discounts while ensuring their properties are protected with the only ASTM-proven fire-defense technology available.

The combined Inside Fire + Outside Fire Defense Program has already gained the attention of leading insurance underwriters, opening the door to better rates than those currently available under the California Fair Plan.
